Mind Your Manners
This class will target specific training skills designed to improve your dog’s behavior choices inside and outside.
We will include skills and strategies for better attention, leash manners, behavior around house guests, or household members, and overall reliability with new and existing cues.

Intro to Nosework
Intro to Nosework is an introductory session for dogs and handlers with no nosework experience.
In this initial session, you will begin teaching your dog to love searching and prepare him for finding the odor source. This activity is energy-expending, confidence-building, and offers great bonding opportunities, all while your dog gets to be a dog.

Criteria for Enrollment: Your dog/puppy must be at least five months of age and has no experience with or not yet working with odor. While your dog will not be socializing or interacting with other dogs, and we will make some use of visual barriers, instruction will be given in a class setting, so your dog must be reasonably comfortable with other dogs in some proximity.
Bring to Class: A piece of walking/working equipment different from whatever you use to walk your dog, a six-foot leash, and lots of small, soft, smelly treats, including table food (like cheese, chicken, hotdogs, etc.).

This class is for dog-handler teams who have graduated to working on odor. Students will be introduced to the basics of working their dogs on order in a variety of search areas, including interior, exterior, containers, and the exterior of vehicles.
